Lily Whiteman is a New York CIty based performer. She graduates in May 2019 with a degree from Barnard College of Columbia Univeristy where she majored in Theatre and specialized in performance. Her thesis casebook explored the role of meditation as an element of the actor's process while she prepared for the role of 'Julia' in the Barnard Theatre Department's production of the play Colony Collapse by Stephanie Zadravec. In the fall of 2017, she took on the character of Mary Stuart in a modern adaptation of Friedrich Schiller's Mary Stuart.
She has advanced actor training both from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and from Shakespeare & Co. in Lonox, MA.
Lily has had the pleasure of working with a number of professionals in the theatre world, including Lisa Rothe, Jane Fonda, Charise Greene, and Gisela Cardenas.
She is certified in broadsword stage combat by the BASSC.
